Salam School is Hiring a Science Teacher Near Milwaukee, WI

Teaching the way it was meant to be!

Salam school is an accredited institution which has been recognized by the Wisconsin DPI as a 5-STAR SCHOOL that Significantly Exceeds Expectations. We are seeking an accomplished, energetic teacher for our Science Department. The right candidate will be able to teach a variety of topics to 7th and 8th graders in the physical and biological sciences as well as head up extra-curricular activities.

A salary above the listed range is possible for highly-qualified candidates.

Teaching at Salam School comes with numerous benefits, including:

  • small class sizes, ranging from 4 to 30 but averaging about 20
  • an average of only 5 classes daily in a 8 period day
  • college-prep curriculum, taught to polite students
  • college credits for advancement paid for by the school
  • school calendar very similar to surrounding public schools
  • a very supportive parent community

Other options are available for staff to add to their income, including coaching, tutoring after school and similar opportunities. Our staff is diverse – roughly half are non-Muslim and many are public school retirees whose love of teaching has kept them in our classrooms sharing their craft with a community that VALUES TEACHERS. We also welcome educators new to the profession, looking for a place to grow their skill-set.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
